Biography

Valentina Valentti brand was created by designer Zaria Jazbinsek. Zaria studied at Central St. Martins school of Arts & Design and graduated with first class honours degree in Product Design. Her final collection received positive reviews and was exhibited in Malmo Design Centre, Sweden. After graduating she went on to serve an apprenticeship with Paul Smith and Hussein Chalayan. The skills she learned as an apprentice helped her understand inside dynamics of the fashion house and how to create an impeccably desirable look.  She then founded her own fashion designer label showing her S/S and A/W collection in Paris Fashion Week every season for 5 years.

At the age of 21 she has won Microsoft award for her colourful designs of inflatable can holder. Her designs were mass produced in USA under licence agreement. While growing up Jazbinsek was designing and dressing local celebrities and appearing on TV shows on Slovenia television.

Early life

Jazbinsek was born and raised in Ljubljana, Slovenia, the youngest of 3 children. She attended Dragomer Primary School, started making dresses for herself, her mother and her relatives  at a very young age. She announced her intention to become a designer. She was very interested in fashion as well as product design. By the age of 18 has decided to pursue a design career, persuading her parents to take her to London to find a suitable college.

Jazbinsek prior coming to London, attended Ledina Middle School in Ljubljana. She graduated from high school at the age of 18, aiming at a career in the west.

Valentina Valentti

In 2009, Jazbinsek started Valentina Valentti, her first pet line. She uses her passion for animals, her love for fashion as a source of inspiration in her designs. The current collection has 80–100 styles and is priced at £20-£100. The collection consists of pet carrier, pet strollers, crates, luggage, pet accessories and bling-liscious dog leashes. The line is sold at retailers, department stores, independents and is also available for purchase online. Jazbinsek says of her style; "My way of expressing is very melancholic... I love romanticism and functionality. I would like to revitalize the Valentina Valentti brand and infuse it with my precision and imagination". Zaria Jazbinsek collections are highly stylized but also very practical.

In October 2010 she launched a new pets love fun line. The line was seen on BBC shows and designer pieces  are often donated to Animal Charities.

In January 2013, Jazbinsek announced she would be collaborating with Amazon to create Pets in Wonderland inspired pet strollers.
